Farm Fresh Eggs

Luna Acres is home to fourteen laying hens, and one unruly rooster.  Chickens are our eldest daughter's domain.  
She originally invested in the purchase of our first chicks and is jokingly referred to as the chicken doctor around here.  She is well read on chicken care and knows lots about caring for our flock. ​
We have Easter Egger, Silver Laced Wyandottes and Columbian Wyandotte chickens, in addition to a couple of bantams.  These breeds give us a colorful mix of eggs.
​We enjoy our farm fresh eggs daily.  
​Our daughter sells extras that we have for $3.00 a dozen.

Our daughter with Queen Victoria who was aptly named, for she is the queen of the chickens around here :).
